“It was always the PAIN I couldn’t handle. It followed me everywhere. In every step, every minute. I was diagnosed when I was 25 when I was most active when I saw the biggest opportunities. It took me a while to get used to not having the quality of life that I had before. Then I started to receive the new therapies and underwent counseling for my pain. I managed to focus my activities toward building strength and [making] all the good juices flow through my brain. I’ve had the right support and navigation through the therapy process and now I’m doing rather well.”
