Crohn’s disease is a form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It usually affects the intestines, but may occur anywhere from the mouth to the end of the rectum (anus).

Ulcerative colitis is a related condition.

“I was a carnivore, a meat-eater. I couldn’t stop myself ever. I would always take more than the extra plate. Being on a diet killed me. I couldn’t see myself as someone constantly having to take care of my food intake. I dropped the diet several times. Made me feel horrible again. And after a couple of surgeries, I finally wised up. It’s even a bit creative. I’m back on the right track.”
